A two-time South Dakota High School Principal of the Year nominee, Lisa Parry has been a South Dakota educator for 30 years. Her mission is to connect with those seeking positive ways to reframe and respond to challenges. Her expertise transcends the K-12 space and includes a focus on universal topics such as people-pleasing, likable leadership, meaningful messaging, and everyday engagement. Lisa presents, writes, coaches, and mentors professionals seeking to establish and maintain a positive and healthy professional and personal life.

She is proud to lead a 2021 National Blue Ribbon School and a 2020 ESEA Distinguished School, and she is a co-developer and facilitator of the South Dakota Department of Education's Good to Great Teacher Mentoring Program. Lisa has presented at the National Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence Conference and the National Making Schools Work Conference, and is a TEDx presenter in partnership with the University of South Dakota. She coaches others in professional development and shares leadership lessons with individuals in industries ranging from telecommunications to photo organizing.

Principal Parry engaged Nicknox Communications as a Fractional CMO to guide the development and positioning of her personal brand and product offering. In this capacity, Nicknox brainstormed service offerings and oversaw the creation of an identity package, positioning and message strategy. Together Lisa and Nicknox crafted a dynamic personal brand that represented a unique offering for a keynote speaker, thought leader and 30-year veteran in education administration and professional development.
Brand Ideation & Guide
Nicknox guided brand discovery and ideation in support of the next evoluation of PrincipalParry.com's brand. Within this framework, the brand explored the concept of apricity and illumination. A unique facet of this partnership was integrating opportunity for input and hands-on experience for Parry's daughter, who was in the midst of pursuing a brand marketing degree. Projects were designed that prompted benchmarking, research and ideation and ultimately Grace Parry made recommendations regarding color palette, overall look and competitive differentiation.
Identity Package
As a sought after TEDx and keynote speaker, Lisa Parry was ready to shift her consultancy from the back burner into high gear. Translating her brand into a high-recall identity package that captured her unique contribution within the education and professional development space was a delightful and rewarding challenge. Identity elements began with well articulated brand guidelines and cascaded to business cards, promotional items, digital presence and unique touches that reinforced key brand messages subtly in photos, backgrounds and other pieces.
Creative Direction
Partnering with a professional commercial photographer brought a polished look to Lisa's brand presence and delivered countless options to reinforce her identity in both print and digital platforms. Nicknox offered color palette and set guidance, recommended unique touches to reinforce key brand concepts and developed a detailed shot list to support brand execution and expansion with personality and scalability.
Web Presence
Taking PrincipalParry.com to the next level included reimagining the site content architecture and developing a simple and responsive look that aligned with Lisa's refreshed brand presence. Capturing and communicating her unique blend of curiosity, warmth and expertise was essential in the overall tone, compelling visitors to reach out and take the next step.
