Event Marketing
Meetings, events, performances, festivals, exhibits, and conferences have been a mainstay of every sector that I've worked in. I am skilled in positioning the compelling and unique aspects of all types of events in ways that spark engagement and action. My background also includes the creation and framing of sponsorship packages in addition to effective, dynamic, and memorable brand collaborations and commemorative merchandise.

The Re-Imagined Disneyland Resort
Brand-centric event planning has been a staple of my professional career in all stages. One of the most memorable of these seasons was the (re) launch of the NEW Disneyland and Anaheim Resort. In addition to planning countless on-site familiarization tours, we planned and executed a 16-market advance-opening product launch to familiarize travel professionals with the expanded resort, ticket, dining and partner attraction offerings. From well-executed - and magical - themes to positioning to logistics, to invitations and "swag," our team hit it out of the (theme) park each and every time.
The Buddy Holly Music Festival
As a founding member of the board of the Buddy Holly Music Festival, my team and I were instrumental in the creative brainstorming and branding of this event, which attracted musicians, travelers and media from around the world. From collaborations with Coca-Cola, Gibson Guitar, the BBC and the Grammy Awards to record-breaking, uniquely branded swag, this event had it covered.
AIGA's Designers for Peace
60 artists. 30 countries. One united voice. AIGA San Diego Tijuana is proud to premiere the Graphis Designers for Peace: United with Ukraine Exhibition. Sales from this exhibition benefitted humanitarian aid for people of the Ukraine. The bi-national exhibition is open for public viewing in San Diego and Tijuana locations. The world premiere was hosted at UC San Diego's world-class Park & Market and Casa de la Cultura Tijuana.
Bowhaus: Sponsored by PETCO
Bowhaus was an AIGA San Diego art exhibit and auction featuring 101 artful dog houses created by area designers, artists, architects and sculptors. Bowhaus pays “playful + pawful” tribute to the Bauhaus design movement. The exhibit, sponsored by PETCO.The event makeup was inspired by art installations like Chicago’s Cows on Parade and Hearts in San Francisco.
San Diego Chorus New Singer Open Houses
The San Diego Chorus hosts multiple Guest Open Houses annually to welcome new singers to the audition and membership pathway. Through conversation and post-event surveys, we recognized that one of the barriers to an immediate YES! RSVP from visitors is apprehension about the flow of the evening and what their experience and participation would be like upon arrival. In response, we created a series of visitors that very specifically walk guests through the evening from arrival to conclusion. The video was well received and prompted an immediate uptick in visitors.
