Designers for Peace

60 artists. 30 countries. Bowhaus

Bowhaus pays “playful + pawful” tribute to the Bauhaus design movement. The exhibit, sponsored by PETCO.The event makeup was inspired by  art installations like Chicago’s Cows on Parade and Hearts in San Francisco.

Wonderbox SD

The vision for Wonderbox began in 2019 with maker, artist and designer Jenna Moore … and a OfferUp ad. Jenna has always had an uncanny knack for discovering bite-sized bursts of creativity in unexpected places, which led her to the idea of curating ‘micro galleries’ through vending machines. This bigger picture translated into tiny spaces beautifully, and was the genesis of Wonderbox. Sitting boldly at the intersection of artistic originality and on-demand convenience, Wonderbox is a locally-sourced, small-batch showcase of San Diego artisans and makers.

Orange Tree Project

Nonprofit organizations have an important role, but we understand that many don’t have the budget for brand strategy and design. Too many nonprofits settle for design help from various sources but without an effective brand roadmap they are hindered from fulfilling their mission and maximizing their impact. Buchanan Design’s Orange Tree Project Design Grants help nonprofits who don’t have the financial resources. Nonprofit organizations are carefully selected to ensure a successful partnership.
